Kiva performs for audience of 520 children, Vancouver,  Jan /08

Kiva has added performances for children. She appeared at Cunningham school (Vancouver) with a 10 year old female percussionist (May Cooper) for an audience of 520 children from kindergarten to grade 7. The educational/entertainment concept is taking the artform of overtone singing and combining it with modern technology (looping of vocals, etc.) and various ethnic grooves. The presentation was an interactive event, with Kiva encouraging the young audience to participate vocally. At the end, a question and answer period provided some interesting moments. One such moment involved a boy from kindergarten who asked the evolved question- "What color is your voice?"
